Lipscomb shocks Indiana in Bloomington 74-69

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) -Adnan Hodzic and Michael Teller each scored 19 points, and the Lipscomb Bisons rallied from a 21-point deficit to shock the Indiana Hoosiers 74-69 on Sunday in the final non-conference game for both teams.

Josh Slater and Brandon Brown each had 11 points for the Bisons (5-6), who won their first road game outside of the Atlantic Sun Conference since December 2007.

Devan Dumes scored 18 points, Verdell Jones had 13 and Tom Pritchard chipped in 12 for the Hoosiers (5-7). Indiana has lost three straight games and five of six heading into its Big Ten opener Jan. 3 at Iowa.

Indiana tied the score at 66 with 2:41 left, but consecutive baskets by Hodzic gave the Bisons a four-point advantage. Following two missed free throws and a failed 3-point attempt from the Hoosiers, Jimmy Oden hit a pair of free throws to put Lipscomb ahead 72-66 with 19 seconds left.
