I was worried at halftime that I was going to have to come back here and take back all the nice things I've been saying about JC and this team. That was a nasty half of basketball. It may not have been as ugly as Nebraska, but this time the players energy, execution, and effort sucked. Luckily the 2nd half saved me. Maybe seeing the little ones at halftime execute better than the did in the first half, humiliated them into giving a solid effort. Whatever the reason, I liked what I saw in the 2nd half. Too bad more people weren't there to see it. I hope I don't have to see crap like I did in the first half ever again.
What do you think the attendance will be on Monday?

Hoping for a real 3k. Shouldn't be much else going on and I'm hoping that the poor crowd on Saturday was due to so many good football games going on and it sounds like a few of our fans were confused by the time change. WSU is a quality program, should be a good game.

I got a ride down to the game Sat. Good gut check. Honestly, I'm not real sure what to make of this team. I really love good fundamental D and we are seeing that more and more. We have a coach that actually demands D on the perimeter. We are letting our good D set up some good offensive opportunities (hello GP?) Just gonna need more O, but that was expected with the re-tooling of the team. Still not real sure of the level of competition, yet. Clemson, I guess, was, and will be, our toughest pre-season match-up and not sure how seriously they took us. Pretty enjoyable for those who like fundamental basketball. For those who don't know much about the in and outs, not quit as entertaining as 80 a game.
