Said alums from both sides would like the tradition, but his players grew up understanding that TCU had good teams and would be a tough opponent. Pointed out the overlap in recruiting HS players and that many on each team had plasyed with and against each other in HS. Reminded everyone of TCU's multiple conference championships over the last 10 years and the BCS bowl victory. I believe he said he wished A$M hasdn't left, but it was their choice and he was looking forward, not backwards. Really liked playing on Thanksgiving, since it gave the players and staff a weekend off to spend with family and a belated holiday. That doesn't aways happen if you play this coming Saturday. Was pleased that both UT and TCU had open Saturdays before and after this game to get ready and then to wind down afterwards. All in all, he was quite complimentary in both his remarks and in response to questions.

Unfortunately the offense is beginning to be pretty consistent at sucking. Oky State, then WVirginia, and of course the KState disaster.

Let's not sell the offense short. Their ineptitude against Kansas, Virginia, and Iowa State deserves recognition as well.
The offense rolled up 487 yards against Kansas and 430 against Virginia and 455 against Iowa State. Stupidity cost us points against Kansas and Virginia, but the offense was rolling pretty nicely. Boykin's 3 INTs and 2 fumbles killed us against Iowa State.
The last three games has just been terrible offense in every sense.
