Pete O'Brien or Pat Putnam at first?
My father used to play with my brother and me in the yard. Mother would come out and say, "You're tearing up the grass."
"We're not raising grass," Dad would reply. "We're raising boys."

Scott Fletcher and Jerry Browne (or Wayne Tolleson) up the middle.

Incidentally, the coolest play in Rangers history involved Wayne Tolleson, a would-be Texas-leaguer, a sprinkler head, and Larry Parrish.

The one who played for the Angels? Were you thinking of Will Clark?

Curious the publicity refers to him as ex TCU instead of ex OSU, but I guess they think that will sell more tickets.

Yes.

I'll blame it on the lack of sleep.
