The Sooners’ NCAA Tournament hopes took a hit because it struggled to get any hits in a 1-0 loss to TCU Tuesday night at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
OU only had three hits on the night and were hitless through seven innings. The hit total marked the second time in the last seven games it’s been held to three hits and the fifth time in the last seven games it’s been held to three runs or less.
It was a well-timed base hit that was the difference between Tuesday night’s loss and the Sooners’ one-run victories over Baylor on Friday and Saturday. ...

I never said we would beat them in points...I said we would beat them which we did in most statistical areas

Didn't say a thing about supposedly inconsistent strike zones, either.

I did hear them mention that the strike zones were "large" but also said the ump called it the same for both pitchers. Agree that they were generally favorable regarding TCU, but the OU alum did a mini-harangue on Lupton stadium and the new bats combining to do away with home runs in Fort Worth. Said he couldn't imagine why Cron came to TCU knowing that his HR production would be low.

Other than his comment on Cron he didn't say anything about Lupton that you won't hear from Frog fans that are regulars at Lupton. It isn't a very hitter friendly park and that is why they are bringing in the fences. Per Schloss this is being done "so the park plays fair" as well as to add stadium improvements.I did hear them mention that the strike zones were "large" but also said the ump called it the same for both pitchers. But the other guy said Cron figured if he hot 60 home runs in high school he could hit it out anywhere. Cron's will come. He hits the ball hard when he gets a hold of one.I did hear them mention that the strike zones were "large" but also said the ump called it the same for both pitchers. If he keep hitting .330 that's fine with me.
