I called the ticket office today to get on the season ticket list, they laughed me out of the building.
Good news is 30k season tickets is going to be a breeze! Bad news (for me) I'm watching from Buffalo Bros
Anyone have suggestions where to source some from?

I don't think they have set a ceiling on season tickets, have they? I assumed that even after this online process was completed, they would sell season tickets until there were no more seats left to sell. Most of their estimates have been season tix in the 30K range. Even if you add in students and visiting team allotment, there still should be more leftover.
Dude it's almost sold out...there are only a few thousand left including GA.

But make sure that you practice carefully to avoid disaster.

Might want to log back into the seat website and take a look. Or at the seat selection thread. We are down to close to 2000 reserved seats left and just a few more than that of general admission seats and that's with 7 (or is it 6?) days of renewals left. So close to 800-1000 accounts left. Even at 3 tickets per account you'll have few left when it comes to the alumni waiting list which will probably finish off seats in the first hundred or so if they last that long.

Actually you are correct. Just was informed that they have upped significantly upped their estimates based on the purchases the last 7-10 days. 35K season tickets and a sellout of the stadium with season tickets is pretty much expected at this point. At least for this year.

No problem. I've got it down to a science but have been too lazy to do GA. Once reserved starts getting cut down, that's when I'll probably add GA.

well that shoots my strategy of just buying single game tickets to all games on sept 1! Is it too late to build the extra deck on the east side?
I wouldn't worry about it too much. I bet they will be cheap on stub-hub for most games. People are clearly speculating with ticket purchases to some degree. Probably will end up with good tickets, too. May have to pay a premium for OU, though.

With the raised expectations for selling season tickets in mind, this is probably a good time to remind folks that the new stadium configuration allows for some significant SRO. I would expect these to be made available on a weekly basis.
Agreed. I believe there's been estimates of 5-10k SRO tickets per game. Not sure there are that many though and don't think there's any official indication on it.

Good point.
It does the raise the question of when they will start to sell SRO tickets for games sold out.
