They're consistent, anyways.  All of the 'Big 12 raiding the ACC' rumors can be traced back to the WV boards.  What makes me additionally suspicious is that all the ACC schools signed off on jacking up the exit fee so as to prevent an exodus to the SEC ( a much more natural fit for most ACC members), yet that seems to be a non-issue where the Big 12 is concerned.  Could it be because the rumors originate with a soon-to-be Big 12 school?

I don't doubt there hasn't been conversations with some ACC teams.  It most likely will boil down to money.  Is the increase enough to make them jump?

Personally I don't think FSU is joined at the hip to the ACC like the Carolina schools are.  So I think they will listen.

They did win the ACC last year. Not that I disagree with you per se as they got killed in the BCS bowl but they destroyed Virginia tech twice. Btw Va Tech getting in over Kansas State in a BCS bowl was bull crap.
