After being one of six players from NIA Prep (N.J.) ruled academically ineligible by the NCAA, former TCU commit Ryan Rhoomes is beginning the same process he took part in one year ago, reports Adam Zagoria of SNY.tv.
Rhoomes, who averaged 10 points and 5.7 rebounds in 2010-11, is currently taking online classes, according to the report, and is considering suitors that include Temple, Virginia Tech, Fordham, Hofstra, and St. John’s.
He reportedly wants to stay close to home, much closer than his original commitment to TCU. ...

So, CJC did recruit a kid that was eligible and from prep acedemy accepted by the NCAA. The NCAA changed it's tune recently, and the prep acacedmy share some blame. But, to blame CJC is silly since the kid was qualified.

To blame the NCAA is ridiculous. NIA has been under their watch for years, including being investigated multiple times and they never out-right cleared anyone the last few years, including Rhoomes, all were "cleared with conditions". Every coach who recruited kids from the program new there were risks involved.
Morehead State was hit hard a few years ago because of activities related to recruiting several players from NIA. The school's one classroom was in the basement of a hotel.

We apologise again for the fault in the subtitles. Those
responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked
have been sacked.

Exactly. CJC took a risk that burned him. Still CJC's fault for taking that risk. Would I have done differently? Who knows. It is sad though that CJC's top recruit was a big bust.

The NCaa said he was qualified, then they changed their minds. The family ought to sue the hell out of the NCAA on this and if I was judge, they would get a million and TCU would get a couple million, just because they are idiots...

I figured this was the case and people just wanted to protect and defend Christian.
I had a feeling that we played with fire and got burned.
