I bought a pair of these the other week and they are pretty sharp.  I have bought numerous pair of boots and loafers from the company and they are very good.  They also have a good return policy.

http://search.grapev...hTerm=tcu boots

Enter the code "prespring" at checkout and get an additional 25% off.  With the discount, they are $300 with free shipping.

They have mens, women's and other schools in the Big XII and SEC.  Even SMU

Thought you all might want to take advantage of the deal.  No, I am not a salesman for them!

I've never bought Lucchese boots.  How is comfort?  How do the sizes run?  I have Tony Lama boots if that helps at all with a comparison.

I wear a 12 normal, but my Lucchese is a size 11.5 so that's about all I can say. They're comfortable. I've passed out in them before so, yeah.

I wear a 10.5 in dress shoes and a 10.5 in Lucchese.  My Tonys are size 11.  They do have a good return/exchange policy, should you need it.

Lucchese is as good a boot as you'll find that isn't custom.  At 300 with the logo, these are a steal.

Here's the link to all the NCAA boots they offer:

Kind of ironic they have all the Big XII South teams minus Baylor.

I have a long/narrow foot, I wear 14's in Nikes and 13-13.5's in most boots/dress shoes

I have two pairs of Lucchese's and both are 13Ds and fit perfectly.  They are awesome boots

Damnit Finkle, I am trying not to spend as much money online shopping this year.  I don't have a pair of black boots (or TCU boots) though, so this is right up my alley (and I just got my tax return)

These look pretty good and Lucchese's are great boots.  Have you seen the ones from Gameday Boots?  A little different and a little flashier but I like both.  Tough decision

I have a wide foot, and Lucchese's toe is too rounded for my taste. They are very well made for an off the shelf boot, but the pair I had a few years back would blister my foot right behind the base of my toes. Thankfully Nocona makes a boot with a wide enough square toe that I can comfortably wear. My next boots will probably be a pair of these..

It sucks though, because I like the looks of those Lucchese boots and that sounds like a very reasonable price.

Is the discount just for the TCU boots?  Also, does anyone know the difference between Classic, 1883 & 2000 Lucchese boots?

You may have just had bad luck.  I have a very wide foot as well and have never had that problem with Luccese's and own probably a dozen pair in varying styles.  I rarely wear any of my other boots as I find the Luccese's to be the most comfortable by a long shot.

Very well made boots.  I haven't bought a new pair in probably 8 years as I've had no need.  Just some new soles occasionally, but all of mine have held up extremely well.

No, the discount is for all NCAA boots.

I'm not 100% sure on difference between the Classics, 1883s, and 2000 boots.  I do know that the Classics are their upper-end boot.  The 1883s are the cheapest of the Lucchese models.  I have 2 pairs of 1883s and really like them.  I want to say the 2000 is an "athletic" style of boot (more rounded, different heel, different sole).  Double-check their website though and see if my interpretation/observation is correct.

Classics are hand-made and are very expensive

1883's are very similar to the Classics, but aren't quite as ornate and aren't hand-made I don't believe.  They're a very good boot though, I have two pair..... these are what you generally see people wearing if they have Lucchese's I would imagine

2000's, not really sure, never seen a pair of those that I'd actually wear

Lucchese is the only boot I wear. Actually, the only boot I can wear - stupid arch in my foot is too high for any other brand. Got a couple pairs of them and have never had a problem. Love the ostrich ones.

May have to look into getting some of these.

I e-mailed Leddy's here in town and they replied saying they had several styles and could also custom make a design you wanted. . . .Not sure about the price.

I went ahead and got a pair of the black round-toe.

Not tax and no shipping, pretty damn good deal

I got a pair of 1883 Lucchese's for Christmas.  I think they are on the lower end as far as price is concerned for the brand.  They are my first pair of boots.  After wearing them twice, they are really comfortable.  I wear a 10.5 athletic shoe, and my boots are 9.5.

I ordered these from Grapevinehill a few months ago, and love them - never really worn boots but they are a great fit and I have been wearing them quite a bit

I went down a half size, but added a boot insole and they fit great now, without the insole, I probably would have wanted to go down a full size
