[Stiff Arm Frog]

Okay, so it's been two weeks since the last time I did one of these things, and the reason for that is that there haven't been many dramatic changes.  Construction on the West side has focused on the infrastructure.  Meanwhile, the East side hasn't progressed much beyond concrete columns.

  I did get a few new pictures, though, starting with the West side:




So, the facade is nearing completion.  Glass has been installed in most of the windows out back.  Even the concession stands along the top ridge are coming along.  The biggest areas left to fill in are the ramp section and the Northwest tower.  More on the towers in a minute.




Frontside of the Southwest corner.  So, we've got glass going almost all the way across the upper luxury suites, and things like drywall and electrical going in on the lower suites.  Looking very good.  They've also finally started to fill in that weird gap over the near entrance.




Obviously not finished yet, but it looks like it's designed to let air through when it's finished.  

And here's one more closeup of the West side progress.  Sorry for the grainy quality, if any of you would like to help me invest in a better camera, donations are welcome.

So, then there's the East side, which looks like this:




Which is coming along best in the Northeast corner:




Those four high columns in the Northeast corner are going to be yet another tower, which will mirror the Northwest and Southwest towers.  There will be no tower in the Southeast corner.  That corner will be reserved for the entryway and the new videoboard.

So in this shot you can see the Northeast tower in the background, and another, smaller construction going on in the foreground.  The smaller construction is going to the far corner of the East facade:

So, that's really about it.  Oh, and just one other thing.  Remember that hole in the locker rooms from my last update?




Well, they're widening it.  Should be interesting to see what they do with this.

Okay, that's it.  Sorry it's not as exciting as my last update, but I shot what I could.  I'll keep you out-of-towners informed if there are any more major developments.

I've been waiting for this. I wish the east side was a little more complete for Junior Day this weekend. But oh well. Still looks awesome. As always, thanks for the update. Pretty difficult to see the details of the progress via the web cam.

Don't worry. Plenty of Tech grads hauling bricks and mixing concrete.

We need a Sammy Baugh statue someplace.  JerryWorld has the Landry statue.  Arlington has the Ryan statue.  Outside Busch stadium in St. Louis is Stan Musial.

These are great photos. And isn't there supposed to be a monument "park" or area dedicated to statues somewhere outside the stadium? Wishful thinking I guess.

Nice pictures. You should work for a newspaper. Anybody know what's the purpose of that small, black billboard on the north end of the stadium, with "TCU" on it. Looks disproportionate and out of place.

The old girl is looking good!  I'd say her facelift is turning out considerably better than Jaon Rivers'!
