But in trying to frame it as free speech, it is probably good to have at least a token woman on the stage

Oh dear. Apparently someone has been reading Crooks and Liars or watching MSNBC again.

About that "all male panel" on the HHS mandate:

Oops...those darned facts just keep gettin' in the way don't they, NFF.

Let Jennifer Marshall enlighten you:

The opening challenges (“Where are the women?”) and later press interviews by Maloney and Norton obscured the fact that women indeed testified at the hearing.

Maloney told MSNBC that there were “so few women there—practically zero.” With two female witnesses among 10 total, however, that can hardly be excused as a rounding error. (See testimony of Allison Dabbs Garrett, senior vice president for academic affairs at Oklahoma Christian University, and Laura Champion, M.D., medical director and physician at Calvin College.)

Let’s be clear: Liberals are fighting to force religious employers to provide health insurance coverage for “no-cost” abortion-inducing drugs and contraception even if it conflicts with their beliefs. Violation of religious liberty is the central problem—and it’s just the latest in the list of Americans’ grievances against Obamacare.

Particularly offensive is the requirement that religious hospitals, charities, and schools must provide and pay for insurance coverage for abortion-inducing drugs—including the morning-after pill and the week-after drug, ella. Demand for these so-called “emergency contraceptives” is fueled in part by the casual sex culture of hooking up—sexual encounters outside the context of commitment, sometimes between complete strangers or mere acquaintances.

Number of times NFF has whined about Fox News and Karl Rove on this board: Eleventy gazillion.

Number of times NFF has whined about the demonstably more partisan MSNBC or any left-center media outlet: ZERO.

I love moderatesTM.

VERY TRUE!
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

..." According to the Congressional Budget Office:

The official unemployment rate excludes those individuals who would like to work but have not searched for a job in the past four weeks as well as those who are working part-time but would prefer full-time work; if those people were counted among the unemployed, the unemployment rate in January 2012 would have been about 15 percent.

Did you see that? If Obama & Co. were doing the math honestly, unemployment would be at 15%.

I’m just saying, Obama is pawning himself off as the 2008 candidate all over again. And he hopes a majority of Americans will fall under his trance once more. The problem is, between the Obama economy, the Obama military strategy, the Obama green initiative, the Obama unemployment numbers, etc., it’s simply impossible to believe these are better days.

The bottom line: Obama has been a disaster and he is beatable. Anything his campaign publishes to the contrary is just a facade.........."

The genius of Obama can be summed up pretty easily.............To create MORE poor, more people dependent on govt for their daily needs. THIS is how he plans on expanding the democratic voting block.

Real nice huh?
