Feisty: There's a Demetre Gildon at Victoria East, who DCTF says transferred from Arlington Martin. Do you know if he's related to our linebacker? Listed last summer as 6-4, 265, 4.9.

Demetri? Deryck has two brothers Dennis Jr. and Demetri and a sister named Annie. Demetri was an OL at Martin.

Demetri had a very serious leg fracture in their game against Allen last year (Oct) and would be amazing if he is already practicing again.

Feisty, what do you know about LB Josh Morgan from Westmoore, Okla.? Rivals shows him with no offers, but some pretty impressive numbers: 5-10, 220, 4.5, bench 335, squat 635, shuttle 4.1, vertical 34, GPA 3.48. I know he had a serious injury his sophomore year, but came back last season with 158 tackles. From Internet scouting he looks like a perfect Frog.

Looking forward to today's mini camp! Will be interesting to see who is there and how they measure up to one another. Last year there was some tremendous competition in the passing drills and I think this year will be even better. Anyone going out to watch?

Feisty, would you happen to know if we are recruiting a kid named Kahlee Woods out of Sherman? He's a big LB at 6'1 240. He apparently runs a 4.6 and is a tackling machine (around 150 tackles his JR year). Really seems like an underrated guy. 1st team all-district.

Not what is happening with Kahlee. Looks like a great kid, no grade issues, etc but so far none of the major programs have offered though he has made the circuits.

Can't wait to see what the staff pulls late this year. I like it when they go quiet. Usually means they are working on someone that is pretty darn good.
