He mentioned that the party deck on top of the north end zone is going to be great and its hard to argue with that statement.

The best way to know and understand someone that's different from you is to jump right into their world.
The mid-20's is by far the hardest time of your life. It's a time where you\'re discovering who you really are. It's a time where you start to see who you'll really be for the rest of your life. It\s a time where you make less money than someone older than you and yet you both do the same job. The only reason that older person makes more money is because they supposedly have "experience".

very nice. This is starting to take shape very quickly. Thanks Wes!
My pleasure. I agree, the construction team is working fast. Hopefully he will send me photos weekly

Thanks to Ross Bailey for sending these to me.

Great pictures, did Ross say how the project was moving along in terms of schedule? Thank you Wes!

Per Mr. Bailey..."we are basically on schedule, but remember it's a very tight schedule."
Meaning..pray for good weather

While I'm sad to lose my season tickets (front row upper deck), this is really going to be an awesome new stadium. Ive sat just about everywhere in the old stadium, I'm really excited to tour the new facility once it's completed to view the new sightlines and experience the views from various sections. The view from that party deck looks incredible!

I hear ya, 'Dillo. Even though I've not been around to buy season tickets for a while, losing that upper deck was sort of like losing an old friend. But fond memories of my family at TCU football games remain, along with the certainty that the rejuvenated AGCS will be a place where present and future Horned Frogs can create more memories. And it still will be...always will be...the place where I grew up watching Swink and Lilly and Curtis and Clinkscale play on Saturdays.
And as soon as I can get this current overseas assignment wrapped up, I'll be somewhere in those stands, again, cheering my team.

Tiye came to HforH as an estray and has been in foster care/training for about six months. He can be ridden by just about anyone, is smart, friendly, healthy...this 14.3hh gelding is ready to ride, and ready for a real forever home.
The best reason I know for having a tomorrow is the chance there'll be horses there.

Are the four piers on the N EZ party deck supports for the new scoreboard? (fingers crossed)
Thanks for these great pictures, Wes!

Was the party deck in the original plans? What is going to be up there?
I don't know about "original," but the ones they presented at the town hall meetings seemed to show that platform. Should be a fun place to sit this fall.
And I'm torn on the weather. Sure, I want the stadium to get done, but man do people need rain right now.

Interesting perspective would be from the west far enough away to see the excavation and the construction.
The view from the RV lot is pretty neat. They've substantially reshaped the hill between the stadium and Lot 2.

And it won't exactly be getting cheaper any time soon.Hopefully we've locked in the steel prices as HRC steel has increased massively over the last six months.
