The Obama administration is backing legislation that includes regulations requiring U.S. businesses to provide to the government data about employee pay as it relates to the sex, race and national origin of employees.
Wow! Tell me again why it's a good idea to put these guys in charge of our economy?
This is an example of why I include Lawyers in the political class. This law will further devistate private business all over the country while it makes millions for the lawyers.
Now, why should those of you in the political class care? Well, it's private business that drives the economy. One of these days, these laws, regulations, and taxes will completely destroy the backbone of this country. Then who will you tax and litigate?
Also, if you are a woman or a minority and you think you're not being paid according to your value to the company, demand a raise. If you're as valuable as you think you are you'll either get the raise or go to work for a competitor and give them the benefit of your value.

I couldn't care less if the govt knows I'm an American male, but I draw the line at telling them how often I have sex.....

It's just another anti-free market, anti-capitalist, anti-business bill during one of our worst economic downturns in history. It almost seems like they're trying to keep the economy bad.

If this piece of legislation was really important--and had a chance of passing the Senate--Biden wouldn't be the one pimping it.
