Amen brother!

Nor is the TCU hand sign like the fangs of a rattlesnake. Stop being lazy people and bend those fingers.

Seriously, I've seen some pretty terrible attempts at the hand sign this week.... little bunny foo-foo was a pretty good description, made me laugh
"If you want any one thing too badly, it's likely to turn out to be a disappointment. The only healthy way to live life is to learn to like all the little everyday things, like a sip of good whiskey in the evening, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk, or a feisty gentleman like myself"

And no sitting down! Sign only while standing. No one sits on our row.

i saw way too many old women pathetically attempting the froggy sign on tv last night... we need to start offering classes...actually.. i should make a youtube video explaining the proper technique to creating a fierce horned frog.

I wholeheartedly applaud this thread. Learn how to make the proper sign.

Top, that picture from the TCU Magazine is what I was referring to in my earlier post....rattlesnake fangs.

You wouldn't believe how annoyed I get at people who do it wrong. My wife thinks I'm obsessed.

Correct me if I'm wrong (good chance of that) but I feel like I heard once or twice (maybe at Frog Camp long ago) that the two-fingered hand sign with uncurled fingers is the sign for SMU. I don't really ever see pony fans do it, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if they were just oblivious to yet another reality of their program.

Partly because of this, it's always bothered me when I see frog fans leaving their fingers uncurled... they may be unknowingly giving the sign of our arch rival. Anyone have any info on this one way or the other?

A true TCU fan must make a post here and get killed by the board then and only then are they a true fan. Let the pummeling begin I can take it.

One major advantage of making the Frog hand-sign correctly is that you can quickly make a fist, turn your arm, and punch the obnoxious guy next to you. Just ask Lance Broadway.
