One, they don't want to play SEC teams every week and most importantly, revenue sharing is equal.
LSU Admin - Remember, the Athletic Department provides more than $2 million in recurring annual transfers to LSU. It also assists with special projects such as $4.5 million for a new band hall and $1 million to assist with the construction of a new Business School. "The SEC...will distribute a record $209 million to its 12 members this year, $17.4 million per school..."

IMO it's bc the conference is too tough; nothing (or very little) to do with academics.

True, but if someone can make something look bad for Texas, it will be brought up here
SEC has already talked about wanting A&M and Texas. I pointed out the facts as to why they would not want to do it.
Tough competition and sharing the money, they don't want either.

BS. You think the SEC wants to put up with UT's crap? Hell no. You'll notice the SEC has not asked Texas to join them.
you don't have any clue who has asked anybody anything and just bc they didn't ask doesn't mean they don't want 'em or wouldn't accept 'em.
