Poor little Mulligan! Thank goodness for the hedge!
Not to be a downer, but keep a close eye on her, Go. My 16 year old girl's last fall (an 8 inch drop) caused a giant hemorrhage to her spleen and she was gone within 24 hours. Have a look at her gums every few hours for the next two days to make sure they stay nice and pink. If they start to turn pale, get to the emergency vet ASAP.
Good advice. Thanks!

21 was lame for me, too. Lots of expectations, but as it turned out, buying booze and drinking wasn't any different than it had been before. 29 wasn't bad. Left my job in Paris with a huge check, went to the bank to deposit it and then hit the Dutch bar very hard that night. Went to a Bruins game on 37 and they lost...but then they won the Cup in June.
21 was kind of lame for me. It was a Thursday night and I went to Billy Bob's with some friends. They wouldn't serve me any alcohol for some reason. My parents were in Fort Worth though and took me and some friends out to dinner. They usually did that every year.
I didn't have my first drink until March 28 which was my friend's (first roommate) 21st birthday. I remember lots of vodka.

You're welcome. I thought of it when you mentioned she popped up like everything was OK because that's what my little girl did, too. Good luck. Those old ones are so precious.Good advice. Thanks!

It probably makes me a sick basterd, but anytime I want a giggle, I subtly plant the idea in her head of the things her sweet, innocent, little boy will start doing to himself in the bathroom around the age of 12, just to watch her reaction ...
Edit: and by "her" I mean Mrs. Duq, not Frisky ... edited that sentence and deleted some important information ... can't really see Frisky's reaction to get any joy from it ...

I hope you get to beat somebody famous...I am headed to Lexington on Friday when I get back from Jersey. We are running the Bluegrass Half Marathon. Of course, in my case, when I say "running" I mean running for about six or seven miles then stumbling, gasping, and cursing through the rest.
because you will be talking about it for years.

The lady that sang this morning at my church had a student in the office the other day. I've never seen her escort a student down like she did that day. I went and asked her what happened and she wouldn't tell me at first. She then put a folder in front of her face and turned her head because she said that she couldn't look me in the face and tell me. The 5th grader was modeling those inappropriate motions to the class with his recorder and she wasn't impressed at all.

My wife turned 60 last week. Made me feel old even though I am not that old. We had a party for her. Guess now they have to have a party for me when I turn 60...in a bunch more years (and by a bunch more years I mean just over a year and a half).

No, just the recorder. I guess sometimes that is all it takes.

Sadly it would have to be one slowass famous person. Like Larry the Cable Guy or someone like that.
