Teach em how to post on KFF.....that'll learn em, durn em....

I actually think I'm going to start making them post daily next year in a forum for their bell work. I have access to online courseware and I'll actually be able to integrate it better next year.

If I had 13 year olds, I could let them post on places outside our intranet.

Not precisely. Sheldon would have said: "Ménage à trois [half dismissive/all superior sniff]"!

I got my wonderful new Kindle Fire yesterday and love, love it! But, can anyone tell me how to post messages here from it? When I tap on the "quote" button or in the reply field, the keyboard won't pop up on the screen.

I can't do it on my nook tablet either. I think it is the website, though, because I have no problems with any other one--and prior to the upgrade, I could post on KFc.

5 hours of yard work and spring cleaning has me moving kinda slow, too.

Weather nerd checking in. This might be interesting later on this afternoon if the predicted storms materialize. If you hover on the little cars on the map you can see if that storm chaser is streaming and then click on it if you want to see their live video. Very cool!

But I promise to be a better playmate (or is it postmate on an electronic board?)

I'm at the school auction for my kids' school. The last two years I've walked away with TCU helmets. First one was signed by GP, second one one had the frog with rose in it's mouth but not signed. This one isn't signed but GP will sign it and personalize it. Do I really need 3 helmets?

I forgot to tell y'all another story from school. One of my students got called to the office and when he came back he started about how another student got arrested for having a lighter at school. I really wasn't sure what was going on because I don't think that it is even against the rules to have a lighter. The next day I found out that not only did the student have a lighter, he had lighted a classroom trashcan on fire with it. It made much more sense why they would arrest a sixth grader for using the lighter than possessing a lighter.

Send me the Rose Bowl one and you'll feel less guilty

Don't buy the puppy. I hear that always turns out badly.

I'm glad the storms have missed you so far today, '71 and Finance. I hope it stays that way overnight. I've had such fun watching live tornados this afternoon. I never get interesting weather up here.
