Lesbian Dem Hilary Rosen tells Ann Romney she never worked a day in her life. Unlike Rosen, who had to adopt kids, Ann raised 5 of her own.

Way to go Catholic League! Jerks that adopt aren't real parents like Ann.

This is way way more offensive. Where the outrage? Oh, he's conservative.

That was a stupid and horribly insensitive thing to say.  He should be ashamed of himself.

That makes it 1-1, for those of you scoring at home.

And if you are scoring at home, congratulations.

And as an adoptive parent, this one's pretty (I'm going to get Banned if I do not EDIT this Immediately)ing offensive.

I'm all for giving people a break. People say stuff in the heat of the moment and in debate that they regret or that isn't a fully formed thought.

This guy is habitually mean. There's nothing braver and more loving than adoption.

The guy is a haateful partisan idiot.  However strongly you want to rip the guy for his comments, you have my complete and total support.   I also believe that there was more intended malice in what he said that what Ms Rosen said.

That being said, it doesn't change the fact that Ms Rosen's comment was a stupid unforced error, was mean cheap politics, and untrue.

As I said in another post, it was more than merely stupid: As my wife has never worked outside the home, I've seen the, forgive me, cattiness--even beotchiness--of some other women to her when she says this at a gathering. There's no other way of stating it. I've seen it with my own eyes.

Rosen pulled the same trick.

I think Rosen's comment pales in comparison, honestly. The cruelty and meanness from Donohue far surpasses any you might find from Rosen.

As I mentioned earlier, that's why one who looks for political opportunities from comments needs to be careful how the process plays out. There are some mean suckers in the Romney camp who will ratchet up the meanness while the Democrats apologize for everything anyone says.

Google "Obama calls out Rosen" and compare it to "Romney calls out Donohue." I don't hold Romney accountable for Donohue, but what does Rosen have to do with Obama, either?

I just get tired of the "my guy said it so it's not that big of a deal" but "your guy said it and it's the worst thing ever."  I don't like it when "my side" does it -- what Bill maher said was SO much worse than what Rush said --  and I don't like it when "your" side does it -- what Donohue said was SO much worse than what Rosen said.
I imagine the level of how offended people are probably has a great deal to do with their individual situation.  I think what Donohue said was disgraceful, but it's probably safe to assume that disgraceful doesn't go far enough in describing it for RSF.  My wife chose to be a stay at home mom, so I might be more ticked about what Rosen said than someone who may come from a household with 2 outside the home workers.

It is just emotionally manipulative politics being played along the lines of which candidate would you rather have a beer with, except it is just the surrogates at this stage.

It is the same garbage from the elementary school playground.

I mean, really, who cares what Hilary Rosen said? I never heard of her before and don't care what she says. I honestly don't care what Bill Donohue says except for the fact that he calls himself the Catholic League. If I called myself the Catholic Association, it would probably tick off a lot of people too.

Don't you mean "strike all the political talkers mute"?

They've already demonstrated their "dumb"...

Thanks for reminding me of a South Park episode from several yeas ago where they made fun of Bill Donohue.
http://en.wikipedia...._Easter_Special
"Donahue reveals he had actually made the promise on two separate crucifixes, a "double cross", and plans to make an example of the Hare Club. Benedict opposes this, saying that double-crossing is not considered to be "very Christian," something which Donohue responds by saying that it is what Christ would've wanted. Fortunately, Jesus miraculously arrives to intervene after resurrecting from his death in Iraq, answering the prayer of one of the Hare Club members, and tells them that he did, in fact, plan for the popes to be rabbits, citing the current corruption of man. Pope Benedict XVI and his clergy are willing to listen and agree with Jesus, but Donohue refuses to listen and orders Benedict to execute Jesus for going against the Church. Benedict refuses, saying that killing Jesus is not "very Christian." Donohue, angered by this, seizes the Pope's mitre, and orders his ninjas to capture all of them, including Benedict and Jesus, and declares himself the new Pope. With the clergy unable to stop him, Donohue orders his minions to lock up Kyle and Jesus, whom he calls the "two Jews", and Benedict to deal with later,"

You need to read his twitter feed.

The libs don't like Tebow coming to the Jets but they love the gangsters who father kids out of wedlock who are on the team. So typical.

Posted ImageCatholic League @CatholicLeague The Times has a book review about the military written by an "expert" who never spent a day in uniform. But she is a lesbian: Rachel Maddow.

Posted ImageCatholic League @CatholicLeague Adrienne Rich died. Ever hear of her? Neither have I. But she's on the front page of the New York Times. Why? She was a lesbian poet.

Posted ImageCatholic League @CatholicLeague Obama is half white but is seen as black. Zimmerman is half white, too, and is seen as white. Why isn't Zimmerman Latino if Obama is black?

Posted ImageCatholic League @CatholicLeague The pope said no, again, to women priests. Watch the dissidents go mad. If they believed in diversity, they would join another religion.

Posted ImageCatholic League @CatholicLeague Transgender women allowed in Miss America? Bert Parks would never be singing she's "your ideal." Not mine, nor even Joe My God's!

Now that transgender women are okay to run for Miss America, look for Sam to mutilate his genitals and enter as Sally. How cute.

NYT is upset that the "easily incited Cuban exile community" is ticked at Ozzie Guillen. But the victims of fascism are never scorned.

So the RNC is now lecturing me to "encourage adoptions." I do but kids deserve a father and a mother. RNC is a joke anyway.

Ironically, the only other member of the Catholic League besides Donohue is a black lesbian gangster Cuban transgender poet who is an adoptive parent who mistakenly joined for the softball league.
