Saw two TCU plates within 50 yards of each other on Davis Blvd just south of 1709 in Southlake this morning.  One was sweet and the other was an epic fail.

One had the black plate (I think it was the star plate) that read TCUFRG on a black Tahoe/Suburban.

The other read 2BEAST on a Smart Car.  Hurts to miss that one.

BTW, I too am not happy with Trader Joe's.  It took me 10 extra minutes to get to Calloway's.

2BEAST on a smart car is pretty funny.  If you are gonna drive a gheyish car, may as well be able to make fun of yourself

My buddy in HS was only able to afford an old Geo Prizm, and his license plate frame read "Real mean drive Geos"

Now that's pretty funny!

I can only assume that 2BEAST is short for "2 the Big East."

Yes I'm quite fond of the phrase. Lil Wayne uses it too I believe.

I hate to judge a book by it's cover but the guy driving didn't strike as one who be able to identify Lil Wayne in a lineup with four white guys.

Oh the phrase has been around for about 10 years now. Lil Wayne has invested several things, but this was not one of them. Just saying he has mass appeal.

Well, the guy driving looks like the type that would make a $150 pledge to PBS in exchange the CD of someone they just showed on Austin City Limits.  Maybe it was his kid's car.  In that case, it's pretty funny and ironic.

Maybe he has multiple personality disorder?

I know the guy that drives the "2Beast" Smart car. In fact, I think he's on here from time to time. I'm sending him a link to this thread now. We'll see if he responds.

In his defense, it is his wife's car.

In my defense, I was really tempted to by some tickets to Lyle Lovett in September that PBS was peddling for about $200 bones each.  So I didn't mean that as a desparaging remark.  In fact, a friend of mine played at the Levitt Pavillion in Arlington the other day and we were joking that he needs to play in front of the PBS crowd more often because they actually have money to buy CDs and merch.

Just thought it was a good way of describing one of those types of people.  I'm always looking for humorous ways to make fun of groups of people, and I will use this one

I have a whole PBS routine that would kill on amateur night.  Maybe I should nut up and do it some day.  The whole pledge drive thing drives me crazy.  I'm watching something on the Civil War and all of a sudden some old dude with a bad combover breaks in and tries to sell me the VHS collection of the program I'm watching and a coffee mug for a $125 donation.

Above is the vehicle in question, license plate and all. Again in his defense, you can see that having a smart car has it's advantages, like when parking at TCU games.
