I love Chicago. One of my favorite cities. New York with wider sidewalks and cleaner streets. Also immensely good pizza.

2 billion for the Dodgers.

So frank McCourt ruins the Dodgers, runs up 579 million debt, has to pay his ex-wife 130 mil, and still walks away with a hefty profit.
It pays to have money.

It's not a bad deal for McCourt, actually. He dumps both is wife and a lousy franchise and walks away with a bundle of cash. Win win win!

Whoa, Larry Brown is interested in SMU?  And not the former TCU/Cowboys cornerback ...
Worse? How can things get any worse?!?! Take a look around! We're standing at the threshold of hell!

He was on my short list of people TCU should look at if they'd fired JC.

All through the winter of '43, we had translators working in joke-proof conditions to try and produce a German version of the joke. They worked on one word each for greater safety. One of them saw two words of the joke and spent several weeks in hospital. But a part from that, things went pretty quickly, and we soon had the joke by January in a form which our troops couldn't understand, but which the Germans could.

TCU made a mistake by making the entire lower east side bowl the student section.  there's no way that students are going to fill the entire section except for the big conference games.  it's going to look terrible on TV when the 20yd line to the endzone has no one in it.

I am trying to get information about this frog, because it looks like a poison arrow frog.... but, gosh is he/she beautiful.  I may have found my new avatar.

Back to researching about this lovely frog!

I screwed up today.  I was standing in the hall on my STAAR duty when my principal walked up to me and grabbed my shoulders to tell me, "Mrs. So-and-so likes to talk too much during testing.  The best thing to do when she starts talking to you is to walk away.  She'll get the hint.  That is what I do when she talks to me and she takes the hint." Shortly after that the lady walked up to me and I said, "I don't think I'm supposed to talk to you." She asked me why and for some reason I repeated to her, almost verbatim, the assholish thing my principal had just said to me about her.  I think she cried for the next hour and I don't think she talked to any adults for the rest of the day.
