Looking at my options for season tickets.  Does anyone know for sure if there will be escalators going up to the 300 level seats?  That's a pretty good climb for us old folks.  Escalators would make a big difference.  Thanks for your help.

A good question, and something TCU needs to mention to people so that the 300 level and 400 level seats become much more desirable.
At TCU, we turn 2-star recruits into 4-star players.

I am about 99% sure there will be escalators and elevators to get to the seats, but I think that needs to be emphasized more.  CDC and others may think that is a "given" for any modern stadium and doesn't need mentioning. But we older frogs, especially those of us who had seats on the upper deck, have years of trudging up the ramp firmly embedded in out memories.  Maybe someone needs to email CDC and ask him about it on the chat.

Pretty sure Wes posted pictures of the escalator construction on here.

I remember those, but it would be nice to have some idea about how extensive the escalator/elevator system will be.

Have heard since the announcement of the rebuild that there would be escalators and I don't know why they would put them in if they aren't going to go to the upper levels.  I haven't seen the blueprints, so I wouldn't bet my life on it, but I'll bet Wes' though cause I'm pretty sure they'll be included.

Since this is a new building it has to be ADA compliant, so it's a quite safe assumption that there will be, but call up the ticket office for confirmation.

I called the ticket office several weeks ago with this same question because my parents are season holders and are in their mid-90's. You are able to ride to level 200, 300, and level 400.  No such luck for the East siders

East side seats will be accessed from the bottom going up just as the ends of the 200 level on the west side.  If they were accessed from the top going down liked the club level then an escalator would be needed.

I can't wait to be 90 and going to games. Lord almighty I hope I'm that fortunate.

I made the hike twice in my life. The first time I swore I'd never do it again unless I was forced to.  The second time a gal and I snuck into the stadium at night to go to the top row and check out the Fort Worth night.  It was one hell of a view.
